The Gibbs and Wang Laboratories in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon are recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to work on projects focused on multiplexed fluorescence imaging, cyclic immunofluorescence, quantitative image analysis, and spatial biology in tissue and blood samples.
Our team is developing quantitative fluorescence imaging technologies to measure cellular phenotypes, biomarker expression and spatial relationships within complex biological samples. Current projects include high-plex cyclic immunofluorescence of tissues, quantitative analysis of circulating cells in blood, and development of computational approaches to extract molecular and spatial information from large imaging datasets. These studies span cancer biology, biomarker discovery, disease progression and translational molecular imaging.
The Gibbs and Wang Laboratories are well supported by NIH and foundation funding and provide a collaborative environment spanning molecular imaging, fluorescence microscopy, computational analysis, cancer biology and clinical translation.
PhD in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, computational biology, bioinformatics, imaging science or a closely related field.
