The Division of Vascular Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is offering clinical outcomes research fellowships to qualified candidates interested in an academic career in vascular surgery. Qualified candidates will benefit from extensive infrastructure and resources at OHSU Department of Surgery and the Knight Cardiovascular Institute. This includes established clinical databases, a Biostatistical core, and IT services. The successful clinical research fellow(s) will be integrated within the clinical surgical team to perform high-quality data analysis of relevant vascular surgical questions.
This position will primarily work on vascular surgery projects with a special focus on peripheral artery disease, graft infections, vascular trauma, and vascular lab topics and other projects as assigned. This will include screening, consenting, and collecting data and biospecimens; entering or uploading data into the REDCap database; managing the database and updating it as needed; organizing and analyzing data for abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts. This person will assist with other papers, chapters, and grants when assigned. They will present at local and national scientific meetings.

This position is a Monday – Friday position with a hybrid (office, clinic, home) work schedule. It will primarily be an 8:00 am – 5:00 pm position, but may have flexible hours based on meetings and clinical trial requirements. The position will interface with patients and collect samples as required for projects.
