Do you think that biologists need Artificial Intelligence (AI) and better software tools including prediction, detection and visualization? Do you want to bridge AI with biomedical imaging? Are you interested in computational approaches to precision medicine? If your answer is yes, we might have a great position for you!
Recent advances in fluorescent imaging have led to an explosion of molecular and cellular profiling data from large numbers of samples, and deep learning approaches have been shown to produce encouraging results by finding hidden structures and making more accurate prediction. Artificial intelligence (AI) can be used as an effective diagnostic tool to improve workflow efficiency and quality assurance in biomedical imaging data. Are you passionate about developing quantitative imaging analysis tools and collaborating with a team of computer science and biologists at OHSU?
We are looking for postdoctoral researchers who are passionate about developing quantitative imaging analysis tools preferably in an open-source setting. Our goal is to build on our existing work in quantitative bioimaging analysis to find creative ways to generate better deep learning models for biomedical imaging analysis application and apply them to understand and cure cancer. Under supervision of the Principal Investigator, you will work on research projects by designing, developing and implementing software tools for processing and analyzing digitized histology image data and multiplexed imaging for biomedical imaging application.
